Ultraviolet Eau de Toilette was composed by perfumer Jacques Cavallier and launched in 2001. The woody-oriental men's scent opens on icy mint and refined amber, pairing energy with softness. Its heart brings vetiver, black pepper and spicy facets together with fruity touches of mandarin and blackcurrant, supported by coriander and patchouli. Vanilla and oakmoss close the composition on a warm, sensual note. The bottle, created in 1999 from glass, silicone and metal, is compact and minimalist and mirrors the contrast built into the fragrance; violet is presented by the brand as the colour of the third millennium.
